McCutchen Mailday #93-95: Another Test Proof and a Dominator

Here's some more Donruss cards I have added in 2016 in case you haven't seen enough already.

The test proof from the 1982 Retro design is the highlight of the bunch which also includes an Elite Dominator /999 and the non numbered pink parallel as seen below

For those keeping track at home, my Andrew McCutchen collection is now my main focus of my entire collecting goals.

McCutchen Mailday #81: Another Donruss Test Proof?

After grabbing the cyan test proof, I sought out the other test proof cards. Today I grabbed the Black in the mail.

Couldn't pass it up, so I didn't.
I'm starting to worry about the Bucs pitching this year.

McCutchen Mailday #78, 79 and 80: More Donruss!!!!

A test proof and a base card join the Bat King relic in today's post.
What's odd is that I don't have the 2015 Bat King relic yet, but have grabbed the 2016 already.
Time to go look for that 2015 Bat King...

So long Tony

Today, the Pirates officially announced the signing of former Rookie of Year, Neftali Feliz but in doing so they released Tony Sanchez.

As someone who has collected Tony since he was drafted and thinks he is incredibly fan friendly, this move saddens me a bit. However, as a Pirates fan, I love this move. Feliz could help make the Pirates bullpen even stronger than it has been for the past few years. Caminero, Watson, Melancon are all solid at the back end. Hughes is a ground ball making machine and if John Holdzkom can get healthy he will no doubt be another flame throwing strikeout guy. Recent signing of Juan Nicasio helps sure up the pen too.

So even though Tony could clear waivers, its very likely that his Pirates career is over.

Here's a Superfractor Test Proof I picked up last year for around $10. It's not signed or numbered, but is a cool piece of cardboard.

And here's a few more from my Tony Sanchez collection
