McCutchen Mailday #35-38: Low Numbered Parallels Galore

Quick post today, but I got a bunch of new Cutches in the mail the other day
Up first are two parallels numbered to 99 or less.  The first is a stunning 2015 Topps Tribute Emerald /99 and the second is a /75 2014 Topps Chrome.  I'm getting fairly close to completing the rainbow for the 2014 Chrome.  I know that I will never the Superfractor though.
Up next are two 10th Anniversary Allen & Ginter cards.  The first is a jersey swatch and the 2nd is the black exclusive 10th anniversary base card.

McCutchen Mailday #200: My first Superfractor of Cutch

This is it!!!! The big new addition to the Cutch PC this year as I have doubled my goal to add 100 new Cutch cards.

I've already shown off a few of the these Gallery of Greats chasing the rainbow parallels.
The rainbow is almost complete. I still need that darn base version though.

McCutchen Mailday #188: Another one down....

Here it is, another Andrew McCutchen parallel.  This is the orange parallel from 2015 Topps Chrome Gallery of Greats.  I have already shown off the Gold and stated I wanted to chase the rainbow.  With the Red, Base, and Superfractor still on my radar, this rainbow could be extremely tough to complete but I have faith that I can complete it before year's end.

We are approaching the second century mark of passing my 2015 Goal to add only 100 new Cutch cards to the PC this year.

McCutchen Mailday #178: It's Happening!!!!!

I am going to build a rainbow!!!!

And I plan to complete it!!!
Andrew McCutchen is one of the representatives on this year's Topps Chrome Gallery of Greats.  It's clear to see how Cutch has become to be recognized as a Great in the game today. He has lead his team to the playoffs 3 consecutive years. He's made 5 consecutive All-Star appearances. He's one a Gold Glove and 3 Silver Sluggers. And he has won the MVP and had top 3 finishes twice.

Yes Cutch is a Great!
And that's why I want this to be my first ever completed rainbow.

A big part of this rainbow is on it's way, but here's the gold parallel numbered 35/50 of 2015 Topps Chrome Gallery of Greats.

I plan to add the other parallels of this to my PC before the year is up.

McCutchen Mailday #167-170: A few more Chromes and Triple Threads

I showed off a 2015 Topps Chrome Pink parallel that I recently purchased for a very low price.  Today, I'm showing off 3 more 2015 Topps Chrome Cutch cards along with a 2014 Triple Threads parallel.

This lot didn't cost much compared to the 1/1 logoman lot I showed off last week.  I think this was around $8 delivered if I remember correctly.

McCutchen Mailday #143: 2015 Topps Chrome Pink Parallel

Last year, I did a huge Save the Boobies contest where I ran all Pink parallels for the month of October. Every comment left raised $$$ for Susan G Komen foundation.  I don't think I am going to be doing that again this year unless there is a lot of positive reaction to it.  Would you guys like to see that?

My Quest for 100 hasn't yielded many pink parallels this year, but this Topps Chrome is especially nice.  I was able to snag it for under $3 delivered.

McCutchen Mailday #101: Chrome Parallel

It's hard to follow up with anything but something spectatular after my 100th Cutch card added this year to my PC.  Clearly after acquiring 5 straight 1/1s that wouldn't be possible.

This is the best I could do.
This is the photo variant from 2013 Topps Chrome. They fell roughly 1 per case. Often times these have sold in the $30+ range, but I won this with a best offer of $13 delivered. Sweet grab!

McCutchen Mailday #57 & 58: More Chroooooomes!!!!!

These McCutchen Maildays are starting to seem a little silly as I compile my updates nearly a month late all the time.  Numbers 57 and 58 in my Quest for 100 new Andrew McCutchen cards added to my PC by year's end bring me two new Chromes (one of which is a die cut).

The Bowman Chrome Fit the Bill is very tough to find and often times will go for around $30.  The seller had listed it with a 1 day auction for a BIN of $9.99.  No one bought it and I decided to try my luck and ask the seller if he could try it again.

Thankfully the seller elected to take my offer and I grabbed it for $10 with free shipping.  It marks my 3rd die cut I've added to the PC this year.

Black is the New Black: Silver Lambo-graph-ini

If you've followed my blog for awhile you know that I love silver ink and black borders.  I've got a large collection of Bowman Black autographs of all the Pirates top prospects (Cole, Taillon, Marte, Polanco, Glasnow, Hanson, Joe, McGuire, Meadows).

I've decided that I wanted to start seeking out Topps Chrome black autographs with silver ink also.
Up first is Andrew Lambo.

When Lambo came to the Bucs in 2010 for Octavio Dotel, I was extremely excited.  He was in his early 20s and already smashing AA pitching which lead to him being a top 100 prospect.   5 years later and he still hasn't been given his full shot to produce at the major league level.

The above on card autograph ran me less than $7 delivered which is an incredible price for a card numbered to 25 copies. Lambo is currently on the DL which is a shame because of the uncertainty revolving around Starling Marte's early exit yesterday.
