If you missed yesterday's card, please go back and check it out. Its one my favorite booklets I have added this year.
We're getting close to the end for my Andrew McCutchen additions this year. I've recently grabbed 4 more parallels.
Included in the group was a gold parallel from 2015 Topps Stadium Contact Sheets, A Topps Heritage Archive Game (red back triple), Topps Tek Clouds Diffractor, and 2015 Prizm Black & White Checkerboard.

McCutchen Mailday #228-237: Gettin Tek'd up!!!! (another 1/1!!!!!)
Last year, I wasn't a big fan of Topps Tek when it first came out mainly because the two guys I heavily PC (Andrew McCutchen and Charlie Morton) both were omitted from having base cards in the set. This year, Cutch got Tekked the F out!!!!!
And I bought as many of the parallels as I could get my hands on including the 1/1 black and white
Here's what else I have so far from the rainbow (sorry for the cut scan, but the scanner was acting up and I didn't know how to fix it)
purple diffractor, cubes, pyramid, tidal diffractor /75
grass, spiral, circuit board, blades
There's a few more 1/1s that have already gotten by me, but I am hopeful that I can add some of the less scarce ones to the collection. The backs of these cards are extremely tough to read. I wish that the stats could have been a little bigger so I wouldn't need a pair of reading glasses to see them.

I used to hate Topps Tek and now I'm chasing rainbows
I really should have bought a lot more of these Gregory Polanco 2014 Topps Tek parallels last year. It's very hard to build the rainbow, now that I actually like it.
Here's 3 more of my recent pickups.

McCutchen Monday: Getting Tek'd out again
Earlier in the month I showed off a very rare Andrew McCutchen 2014 Topps Tek Tektonics card that I purchased in 2015. Also this year, I showed off 3 Gregory Polanco Topps Tek cards I purchased. Here's the card that I fell in love with at the end of last year that started my Topps Tek short lived craze.
I don't know what it was about this card, but when I first saw it on ebay at the end of December I knew it had to be mine. I received it on New Year's Eve and have been patiently waiting to add it to the blog until I thought the time was right. Since I don't want to show off any of the major purchases yet of the other Cutch cards I've had in my possession before 2014 ended, I thought this was an appropriate time. WOW!!! That was terrible English. Oh well...enjoy the card.

McCutchen Mailday #13: Tektonics Super Rare 1 per Case!!!!
The Quest for 100 new Andrew McCutchen cards to my collection in 2015 has already yielded a nice dozen cards including a 1/1 and several very rare Allen & Ginter cards. I've also added a new autograph to the collection /10 and a cool mini jersey.
My latest Cutch addition is an insert from Topps Tek called Teknicians that was inserted only 1 per case and numbered 24 /50.

The back of the card gets real deep into what makes Cutch such an offensive threat by calling his "hands ... crazy fast" and "seems to have no swing holes".
Topps Tek wasn't meant to provide in depth looks like Bowman draft or Triple Threads. It was meant to be a kick ass line with beautifully designed inserts and a bunch of short print parallels to chase. Mission accomplished Topps!

Topps Tek Confuses the **** Out of Me!!!!
I love chasing parallels. I supercollect Charlie Morton. I've been buying parallels of Russell Martin's 2013 Topps Chrome since it's release. I love parallels. They're fun to collect.
Topps Tek, tho.....HELL NO!!!!
There are so many different variations and they are all so minutely different that I just can't keep up with all the shapes and diffractors, and refractors and images resembling tractors.
Take these two cards for example. They look pretty similiar, right?
Yes they do. One diffracts light a little bit different and that warrants a special numbering /25 copies.
The scan on the back is more evident of it's lightshow it gives off.
This type of parallel stands out much clearer to me. It's black and white what kind of parallel this is. If you don't get the pun, get the hell off my blog.
The three cards above were won for $27 delivered. Overall it's not a bad price to pay for two cards numbered to less than 25 copies.
