I just got my newest Tony Sanchez in the mail today for the low price of $4.50
It hails from 2009 Panini Extra Edition and is the red di-cut numbered to 100. Tony hit a 3 run bomb in yesterday's first spring training game for the Buccos.
I see Sanchez as being a solid backstop for many years to come. I think his ceiling is .270 average with 15+HR but I think his defense is incredibly strong. I'm sure, he'll be in All Star discussion a time or two for his career once he becomes a regular.
The old status cards were some of my favorites in the mid 2000's. I have a really weird Jack Wilson 1/1 that i'm going to write a post about soon.
