More Museum relics

Here's some more of my recent 2015 Topps Museum cards I have picked up on the secondary market
Check out that sick quad relic of Jose Bautista I snagged for under $20.  The Jays are steamrolling through the American League now with their intense power hitting mashing offense.

Here's a jumbo jersey of Neil Walker that I got for under $8
Neil is set to become a free agent after next season.  I suspect that "The Pittsburgh Kid's" days are numbered in the Burgh.  With cost controlled infielders Josh Harrison, Jung Ho Kang, and Alen Hanson all set to be on the roster at some point next year it's likely that Walker has only about 200 games left to try and win a World Series for the team he grew up rooting for.

  1. I love Walker, but his defense at 2nd is hard to watch. He has good hands, but the range is just so bad. I keep wondering what we'll do at first next year if Bell is not ready. I wonder if he would be an option there if he uses the winter and spring training to learn.

    1. This has been suggested by lots of fans on BucsDugout but I'm not sure that Neil would be ready for 1B duty. It seems that if our catchers ever throw balls in dirt on potential runners, Neil has trouble scooping them up.

    2. That is the funny thing because everyone assumes that you can just plug a guy at first and he'll automatically become serviceable. I'm surprised people still suggest this considering what we have had to put up with this year with Pedro. Maybe we can squeeze one more year from Walker at second.

    3. No doubt that Neil will be back next year. I think Pedro gets non tendered in off season and they bring back Ishikawa until Bell is ready.

  2. Great patches on that Bautista! I'm expecting a similar Goldschmidt soon!

    1. Thanks Dan. Goldy is very undervalued in the market. I'm trying to grab a Dynasty auto/patch of his.
