Football Sunday: Go Steelers!!!!!

Just a quickie for today so that I can show off a super sweet Antonio Brown patch card I grabbed for $30.

Numbered to only 25 copies from National Treasure this card features three colors spelling out Steelers. Shortly after purchasing this card it was revealed that Panini was using event worn patches on game used described cards. This doesn't really bother me too much because ultimately I value the card at what it looks like, if it will stand out in my collection, and how much I collect the player. Since I don't have any Antonio Brown patches despite being an elite receiver and one of my favorite players, I thought $30 for this card was fair value.

Feeling Blue: El Toro Chrome

Since the beginning of the month I've shown off a few of my recent ebay deals from the same seller.  This was the most expensive of the bunch coming in at $1.27.
2011 Topps Chrome Blue Parallel 90/99.

El Toro had a down season this past year after posting over 30 HR in 2012 and 2013.

Due to his defensive errors and injuries, the Pirates removed him from their every day lineup as a third baseman and started playing him at first base.  It was my vision a few years ago that Alvarez would one day transition across the diamond due to his size and inability to stick at third.  He has made a lot of really good picks at 3B and I could see him being above average defensively at first.

I liked Ike Davis, but I guess the front office sees Pedro as being the key guy at 1B for the Bucs in 2015.

Earlier in the week it was revealed that the Pirates traded Ike Davis to the Oakland A's for a bonus signing pool in the international draft.  This gives the Pirates nearly an additional $300,000 to spend on Latin American ballplayers.

Don't think that's much?  Here's some guys the Pirates have signed in recent years for under that mark
Starling Marte 2007 $85,000 (gold glove finalist 2 years in a row, 11.7 WAR in only 2 seasons)

Gregory Polanco 2009 $150,000 (one of baseball's future 5 tool talents)

Dilson Herrera 2010 $220,000 (youngest player on Mets roster last season, used as key trade piece to acquire Marlon Byrd for 2013 Post Season)

Willy Garcia 2010 $280,000 (you'll be seeing a lot of his cardboard on here soon)

Gift Ngoepe 2008 $15,000 (1st South African baseball player signed)

Alen Hanson 2009 $90,000 (considered by many to be a top 75 prospect entering 2014)

November 28th: In Memory of My Friend

A few years ago on this date, a dear friend of mine and extremely talented artist Josh Medors passed away.

Josh drew this during his battle with cancer on a piece of cardboard to raise money for the March of Dimes.  I miss Josh not only for his talent but also the strength he showed while battling through the pain.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

As is the customary holiday tradition on Thanksgiving, I show off cards with Turkey in them.  Wether its a Butterball promotional card or a Topps Turkey Red, if it says Turkey, it gets highlighted on Thanksgiving.

These 3 cards will be the focus this year.  I've had them since the set was released much much earlier in the season.  I don't remember what I paid for them, but I think I got all 3 for around $8 delivered.

If Pedro Alvarez was in his black alternate uniform, this set would look a lot better.  The Gerrit Cole is probably one of the best images used in the set.  He just looks so intimidating.

Happy Turkey Day folks!  I'm looking forward to the 4 Fs on this day: family, friends, food, and football.

Damnit it's a Doumit: Autographed Edition

For just under $4 I was able to add another Ryan Doumit to my collection.
It's from 2013 Pinnacle and features a sticker auto with Ryan's 3 letter signature of RDt.
RDt sounds like a wrestler's name or finishing move and Doumit always seemed like someone you wouldn't want to get into a fight with.  Just look at the mug on this guy below.

It's looking more and more likely that I will not complete the goal to add 36 new Ryan Doumit cards by year's end.  I still need about 20 more unique Doumits to meet that goal.  Doumit is a free agent this year so I'm not sure what team he will appear on in 2015 products.

Gregory Polanco joins the Triple Threads Reverse Box

Yesterday I showed off a nice Gold Parallel of Andrew McCutchen from 2014 Topps Triple Threads.  As some of you may be aware I am trying to reverse box 2014 Triple Threads this year and have added some great cards which you can see here and here.

My latest pair of additions ran me $4 delivered and includes a base card and amber parallel of the 5 tool talented rookie.  I'm $52 committed to the project and still need to track down 2 more base cards, a jumbo relic, and a triple relic using only $98. This won't be a problem at all.

McCutchen Monday: a pair of Triple Threads

Last week I showed off a Jason Grilli Triple Threads patch and auto and stated that I would do a reverse box of Triple Threads this year before the year is up.  Here's a base card and parallel for the reverse box.

The low numbered gold parallel ran me $7 delivered with the base.  I might actually try to make 2 boxes using the funds it would have cost to make 1 box with the amount of great cards I have been able to pick up reverse boxing it.

So far I have been having good success on this reverse break
For $48 I have grabbed
a very low numbered auto/jumbo jersey relic (/10) Jason Grilli
a pair of gold parallel /99 cards (Alvarez and this McCutchen)
an Amethyst /325 parallel (Alvarez)
an Emerald /50 Triple Relic/AUTO (Andrew Lambo)
3 unique players base cards (McCutchen, Cole, Alvarez)

That leaves me $101 to track down 3 more base cards, 1 more parallel, a Jumbo Relic, and a triple relic.  I have tracked everything down and I must say I did very very well.

Football Sunday: Another Sweet Le'veon Bell Auto/Patch

I don't have a huge football collection, but it's starting to grow more and more each month.  Prior to this season, I only had 1 Le'veon Bell card in my collection, a base card from Topps.  Recently I have stated that I am trying to get more quality over quantity with my Steelers and Penguins collections and the focus of my Steelers additions has been Le'Veon Bell.  I drafted him in the 2nd round of my fantasy football league this year and he has been a monster nearly every week putting up 20 points for me consistently.  Last week he reached 38 points with his 204 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards, touchdown, and several receptions.

My newest Bell addition is from 2013 Inception and features a nice patch along with a sticker auto that I won for $25 delivered.

Nothing will likely beat my first Bell auto because it was on card and a booklet, however this was purchased for only a fraction of the price and I think I will make Le'Veon one of my collecting goals for next year.  And for those that forgot I posted a pink towel relic of one of the leagues top rushers during my Save Second Base event in October.

Reverse Boxin' TTT

No today's post isn't some new sport featured on ESPN, it's another step closer to doing a reverse box of 2014 Topps Triple Threads.  Last year I started with a reverse box of 2013 Topps Tribute and continued that to this year with a 2014 Topps Tribute which I completed in October with 2 pink parallels (Didi Gregorious and Jason Heyward).

Earlier in the week I stated that I would reverse box a 2014 Topps Triple Threads starting with my Jason Grilli Jumbo Patch Autograph numbered to 10.  That card ran me $15 so if you're keeping track that left me $135 to go after the remaining 13 cards.  Not bad odds for completing a reverse box.

Well as I was browsing ebay I came across a seller who had several Pirates base cards, 2 Pedro Alvarez parallels, and an Andrew Lambo triple relic autograph numbered to 50.  What the heck...why not go for this large lot to help knock off some of the cards.  It ended up costing me $26 delivered but brings me to need only 2 base cards, 2 parallels, and 2 more hits with over $100 to spare.  Needless to say though I will likely take away a Pedro Alvarez base as I hopefully will not pull any doubles in a box that contains only 14 cards.

Here's the lot
2014 Triple Threads 8/50 AUTO/RELIC
Despite seeming like Lambo has been in the minors trying to break through for that breakout season at the major league level, Lambo is still just 25 years old.  I have high expectations for Lambo and think that he could be a better defender and contact hitter than Pedro Alvarez at 1B, plus he can play a corner outfield position.  I think that he will most certainly make the team next year and will likely win the starting 1B role midseason similiar to how Josh Harrison won the 3B role when Alvarez struggled.  Does this mean that I am giving up on Alvarez in the organization?  No actually.  I think Alvarez will return to 3B and Harrison will become a super utility guy again.

The other base cards in the lot were 2 Alvarez, 1 Cole, and 1 McCutchen.  As I said above I think I will most certainly replace one of the Alvarez base with either Polanco or Clemente.
2014 Triple Threads Gold 96/99 and Amethyst 236/325
As for the parallels I added the 2 Pedro Alvarez parallels because they were part of the lot.  Again though, expect one of these to not count towards the reverse box because even though it's a different parallel (amethyst and gold) I would like to get different players parallels too.

My second Cole Tucker Team USA card

One of my recent COMC purchases had another Cole Tucker Team USA jersey patch in it.  The card ran me just north of $2 and features a great image of Cole sporting his awesome fro.

I'm looking forward to picking up a lot of Cole's parallels when he appears in a Bowman release next month.  Despite a slow start to his career, I think this kid is going to be something special.  He batted .267 with 48 hits in 48 games as a 17 year old playing in the Gulf Coast League.  He's still probably 4 years away, but with his ability to stick at shortstop, bat from both sides, and speed he will likely be a very good baseball player.

Throwback Thursday: The Dock is in!!!!

A few months ago I made a large purchase of over 100 cards on COMC that helped complete some vintage teamsets along with parallels and inserts of some of my favorite Pirates.

I already showed off my 1965 Topps Strikeout Leaders featuring Don Veale that completed my 1965 team set.  Today I'm going to show a card that ran me just over an Abe ($5) to complete the 1970 Topps Pirates team set.

Last card needed for the 1970 team set: Dock Ellis
Card Number: 551 (high number)
Player's most notable moment in Pirates career: threw a No Hitter on LSD

Dock Ellis recently passed away in 2008, but before his passing he would often tell a story of how he threw a no hitter on the drug LSD.  For more information of the No Hitter as told by Ellis, visit this site.

There's currently a documentary called No-No: A Dockumentary the Dock Ellis story.  The trailer can be seen below

15 bucks lil man, put that Grilli in my hand....

I had that Jay & Silent Bob quote in my head when I realized how much I paid for this card.
For $15 I received an autograph of the former closer Jason Grilli.  It's funny how saturated Grilli's autograph has become with Topps.  A few years ago before he became an All-Star closer and Sports Illustrated cover material, tracking his autograph down was almost impossible.  Now Topps is putting him on everything.
2014 Topps Triple Threads AUTO/PATCH 3/10
Which is fine because it keeps the prices low and allows me to grab awesome pieces of cardboard like you see above.  Numbered to only 10 copies and having a really nice patch piece along with an autograph of the former first rounder for $15, well....

For $15 I couldn't resist it especially since I'm putting together a reverse box.  You'll see more Triple Threads appearing on the blog over the next few months as I try to reverse a box.  So far though I have been very successful.

Tony Tuesday: Another Slabbed Edition

One of my 2014 collecting goals was to try to get half of Tony Sanchez' 2009 Bowman Chrome Autograph rainbow BGS graded 9.5 or higher.

Here's the list so far
Blue /150
Xfractor /199 (posting soon)
Base (not numbered)

Here's what I don't have...
Refractor /500
Superfractor /1
Red /5
Orange /25

Once I post the XFractor that I have had for a long time, I will be sitting at half complete.  Unfortunately three of the four remaining are very tough and expensive to track down.

Here's my recent addition to the list though...a gold refractor numbered 12/50

McCutchen Monday: 2014 Topps Chrome SP Variation

Last week on McCutchen Monday, I showed off an Allen & Ginter insert that ran me 74 cents to purchase.  Today I'm going to show off an extremely rare Topps Chrome SP Photo Variant that ran me $37.

The above beauty runs 1 in every 5 cases of Chrome.  Multiply that by 25 players that got the variant treatment and you can figure out how rare this card is.  Other copies of this card have sold in the $75 range so I am VERY VERY VERY happy to have won it for half that price.

Thanks everyone for reading.  God Bless!!!!

Football Sunday: It was a Good Time to be a Steelers Fan!!!

The Steelers were steamrolling through the NFL putting up ridiculous offensive numbers being lead by 2 time Super Bowl Winner Ben Roethlisberger.  Big Ben has a number of offensive weapons in Antonio Brown, Le'veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, Heath Miller, and Markus Wheaton.

Then last week happened in which the Steelers were embarassed by the 1-8 New Jersey NY Jets.  I chose not to go to the game and am glad that I didn't see that disgrace in person.

For years, it was always the Steelers defense and running game that kept the Steelers as top contenders.  It's so nice for the black and yellow to be putting up monster numbers this year.

The above black border parallel from 2011 Topps was part of my recent ebay steals and I won this for $1.75 delivered.  Not a bad price for such a great photo of a Steelers celebration .

I got Locke-y with this penny deal

I've been showing off a number of cards that I won ebay auctions from the same seller for only a penny recently and here is another fine example.  It's a 2011 Topps Pro Debut Gold Parallel of Jeff Locke numbered to 50.
Jeff was an All-Star in the 2013 season when he posted an incredibly low ERA through the first half and crumbled in the second half.  He's still a very serviceable arm in the back end of the rotation, but he depends so much on painting the corners that if his command is off slightly, it becomes a walk-a-thon or batting practice.  Regardless of what Jeff's 2015 season looks like, I couldn't pass up this golden opportunity to add a low print run card of his for only a penny.

With the announcement yesterday that his mentor, AJ Burnett, is coming back to Pittsburgh it will be interesting to see how Locke does next year.

Black is the New Black: Nick Kingham Heritage

For the second time this week, I'm showing off a Topps Heritage Minors Black Parallel card that literally ran me just a few pennies...well in this case 99 to be exact.  The above Nick Kingham 2014 Topps Heritage Minors black parallel numbered 102/105 ran me 99 cents delivered and is my most recent addition of the future major leaguer.  Many people were thinking that Kingham might receive an early cup of coffee last year due to top pitching prospect Jameson Taillon suffering from Tommy John surgery and many of the Pirates rotation having multiple stints on the DL.  Fortunately Jeff Locke and Vance Worley helped solidify the rotation lead by Edinson Volquez over the course of the season.  Yup, you just read that all correctly...that's how the Pirates 2014 season went.

I have high hopes for Kingham to make an impact at the major leagues, but don't see him much more than an innings eater with mid to high 3s ERA.  Basically I see him as a Bronson Arroyo type without the crazy delivery.  When put that into the back end of a rotation, the Pirates rotation plans look pretty good for 2016 and beyond.

At one time I considered super collecting Nick's cards especially since I have his superfractor, but that mustache was just too terrible to ever bear witness on a baseball card consistently.

Throwback Thursday: 800th Post Mazeroski Sketch & AUTO!!!!

For my 800th post, I wanted it to be something impressive!!!!
Something that made people say "Woah that's cool"

A 1 of 1 sketch card and autograph of Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski, ought to do the trick.  I have been keeping my eyes on these Leaf Masterworks sketch cards for a long time.

As some of you may know, I used to collect comic books and spent a lot of weekends attending the comic book convention circuit in the summers.  While attending the events I would often spend a lot of time and money chatting up the artists to get sketches of my favorite characters.

When I got back into the sports card collector market, I still had a fixation on sketch cards as you can tell by all the Chris Henderson sketches I've gotten in the past year.

This great image of a happy Maz (even though logoless) complete with a sticker auto of the Hall of Fame secondbaseman and 8 time gold glove winner was just too beautiful of a card to not add to my permanent collection in the Treasure Room.

Thank you to everyone that reads my blog over the past 800 posts.  It's been fun interacting with you all.

Chasing Rainbows: Russell Martin Orange Chrome Refractor

Last month I showed off my Pink Refractor of Russ numbered /5.  It marked my 6th different parallel of this card I had shown off.

I had already shown off a few of the rainbow parallels in the past dating back to last year.
black numbered/100
camo numbered 10/15
red numbered 12/25 and sepia numbered 45/75

Today I'm showing off my 7th parallel of the recent free agent backstop.
It's the un numbered orange prallel.  I'm going to keep trying to add these to my collection as long as they come up.  This one ran me just $1.25 delivered.

Tony Tuesday: Another Penny Deal

Last Tuesday, I showed off a gold parallel Topps Pro Debut of Tony Sanchez numbered to 50 I won for only a penny.  Today it's another penny deal of the former first rounder.
2011 Topps Heritage Black Parallel 2/62
Despite what happens to Russell Martin in the offseason, it is almost certain that Tony Sanchez will play some kind of role in the Pirates for the 2015 season whether it's backup catcher, right handed platoon partner at 1B, a pinch hitter, etc.  I still have high hopes for Tony with the Pirates, but the window of opportunity for him to prove himself at the position is narrowing with each passing season.

As for Martin, it's reported that he's looking for a 5 year/$75 million contract.  I appreciate your time in Pittsburgh Russ, but I hope you have a great career.  It's clear the Pirates won't be AND SHOULDN'T be paying that kind of contract.

McCutchen Monday: Ginter Insert!!!!!

I recently grabbed 42 new Andrew McCutchen cards I needed from COMC and now I have almost enough ammo for the next year's worth of McCutchen Mondays.

This 2014 Allen & Ginter insert of Cutch cost me a lowly price of just under three quarters.
Not all McCutchen Mondays will be quick during the offseason, but expect a lot of insert cards and parallels over the next few months until we get to Spring Training.

Football Sunday: Le'veon Bell Book with On Card Auto and patches!!!!

The Steelers are rolling lately with Big Ben leading the charge.  Ben is the first QB in NFL history to throw back to back 6 TD games.  Think about that for a second...
2013 Topps Five Star Booklet 8/15

One of the Steelers best offensive weapons this year is running back Le'veon Bell.  Bell is a dual threat to both run and receive the football.  So far this season, Bell has 1 rushing touchdown and 2 receiving touchdowns.  He's already got 711 rushing yards and 433 receiving yards.  In recent weeks, Bell has been used more as a receiver while on the field and you've seen the results of the Steelers offense exploding because of the dual threat.

The above 2013 Topps Five Star Booklet is the nicest football card I own.  Bell is my current favorite player, just slightly above Antonio Brown, and I really wanted to get 1 nice card of him.  I've decided that for my Steelers and Penguins collections that I would go with the less is more way of collecting.  Less quantity, but better quality.  The above Bell card is what can be expected going forward for my Steelers collection.

The Steelers got the Jets today and I'm hoping to score some tickets to go to the game.  If not, it's looking like another day at the pub cheering on the black n yellow.

Seeing Red: Another penny deal of a silver slugger

It's been over a month since I showed a Seeing Red segment at the PTR and that's because of my Save Second Base charity event which raised almost $80.  Thank you to all who participated.  It was a lot of fun and helped a good cause.  I will be randomizing some cards off over the next few weeks or so to those that actively participated.

Earlier in the week I showed off a Tony Sanchez 2011 Topps Pro Debut Gold /50 that I won for a penny.  Today I'm going to show off another card that I won from the same seller for a penny also.
2011 Topps Chrome Red Parallel 11/25
For a penny, you can't really beat that price, but if you need further convincing that it was money well spent...here you go

Neil Walker won his first Silver Slugger award at 2B this year by leading all National League 2B in Homeruns (23) and On Base Percentage (.342).

What's funny about Walker's 2014 season is that it got overlooked in Pittsburgh because their lineup had 4 players with higher wRC+ (Andrew McCutchen, Russell Martin, Starling Marte, and Josh Harrison).  That just shows how good the Pirates lineup was in 2014, if only their pitching hadn't struggled so much early in the season they could have had a good shot at winning the division.

The Legend of John Holdzkom

Many sports publishers released articles about John Holdzkom and his path to the big leagues in 2014.  For those of you that don't know Holdzkom was a 4th round pick of the New York Mets in 2006.  He's 6ft7 and throws hard.  After many minor league seasons he was eventually released and joined the Reds for a season in A ball as a 24 year old.  He would be released again and eventually joined several independent leagues before being scouted by the Pirates in 2014.  The Pirates signed him to a minor league deal and he tore through AA and AAA hitters striking out 37 batters in 26 innings while allowing only 15 hits sprinkled across those 26 innings.  The Pirates rewarded the tall righty with a September callup and he continued to dominate at the major league level as well.  He struck out 14 batters in 9 innings of work and surrendered only 4 hits.

The Pirates appear to have struck gold in the tall righty and I felt the need to add a gold rookie card of the Legendary John Holdzkom while the prices were still only .25 delivered.  Figured a quarter was a fair price to pay for someone being compared to John Lackey.

If you want to read more about Holdzkom check out the Baseball America article.

Throwback Thursday: Tracking down the Holy Veale

I needed one card to complete my 1965 Pirates Team Set and that was a card that featured the 1964 NL Strikeout Leaders including Bob Veale.  Veale lead the National League in punchout in 1964 with 250 in 279 innings pitched.

The card which also features Hall of Famers Bob Gibson and Don Drysdale ran me $3.20 and helped me complete 3 Topps Team sets with a recent COMC purchase.  I will show off the others as part of my Throwback Thursday segments.

Russell Martin sketch card by Chris Henderson

It's time to deliver another great sketch card by Chris Henderson.  Chris does some of the best sketch cards I have ever seen.  They truly are works of art.

My latest addition is none other than the player who has the highest Free Agent contract ever issued by the Pittsburgh Pirates, the sensational backstop that helped the Pirates get back to .500, the former Gold Glove and All-Star Catcher Russell Martin.

Like all of Chris' sketch cards, these are 1/1s that feature an uncanny likeness of the player depicted.  This one of course features Russ before his scruffy I'm not going to shave all season long look.

When I initially set this up, I asked for two things from Chris.
1) That he uses the black alternate uniform to keep it consistent with the other sketch cards he's drawn for me (Morton, Marte, McCutchenCole)
2) That Russ is shown with his mask off getting ready to gun down a runner attempting to steal

I will continue to hit Chris up throughout this year and next for more Pirates sketches and most likely some Penguins and Steelers.  If you're interested in arranging to purchase something from his website visit his site.  Let him know that Brian, the Pirates fan sketch collector sent you.  Information can be found on his website below.

I struck gold for a penny!!!! Tony Tuesday

I won the above card for only 1 cent!!!! 1 fricking cent combined with several other items that cost me a grand total of $6 delivered for 10 cards serially numbered 62 or less.  What a fricking steal!!!!

Best of all it's an ebay 1/10.  Do the math and you'll see what I'm talking about. LOL!!!  Next Tuesday I'll show off another Tony Sanchez that I won for a penny.

McCutchen Monday: another 2014 goal complete!!!!!

It ran me $50 to grab this 2014 Donruss Series 2 DieCut Gold Auto of Cutch numbered 2/25, but it completes my 2014 goal to have 75 unique Andrew McCutchen certified autographs.  Since I started collecting Cutch back in 2009 his prices have just gotten insane for his autographs.  I remember as recent as early 2012 being able to get an auto/relic from higher end products of Triple Threads, Museum, etc. of his for under $25 and now his auto is fetching $50+ easily.  Nice prime patches of his often go in the same range without an autograph.

So far this year I have been very good about achieving my collecting goals.

I've added several 1 of 1s of Charlie Morton over the year including a 2014 Topps Yellow Printing Plate, the 24 Karat Gold embedded 2012 Topps card, a 2013 Topps Update Black Printing Plate, 2014 Topps Blank Back, 2014 Topps Heritage Blank Back, and a Sign of History Slabbed Cut Auto.  My goal was to add 1 more 1/1 Morton to the collection and I managed to grab 6 so far.  In addition to that I have tracked down several older Mortons that had eluded me for a long time and now I only have 2 non 1/1s needed to complete my Morton supercollection.  They are both Topps Factory Orange parallels from 2012 and 2014 respectively.

In addition to the Morton collection growing I've added several more Andy Van Slyke and Jason Bay cards to my collection surpassing my goal of 36 new cards for the year.  Ryan Doumit however I have struggled with adding only a handful and will likely not pursue collecting anymore of his cards going forward.

I've crossed off several vintage sets which I will show off on upcoming Throwback Thursdays in the coming weeks now that Save the Boobies month is over.

I added a Goose Gossage auto wearing Pirates gear in the first couple days of the new year.

I wanted to get 1/2 a rainbow complete of Tony Sanchez 2009 Bowman Chrome Autographs BGS at 9.5 or higher.  So far I've shown the blue, and base.  Still need a lot more.  This will become a focus as the year comes to a close.

My final goal was to add Bowman Black autographs of the Pirates top prospects.  I love Bowman Black autos.  They just look so beautiful being horizontal with nice big on card silver sharpie autographs. I showed off 3 Tyler Glasnow autographsGregory Polanco, and Jameson Taillon Bowman Black autos this year.  I still need Alen Hanson, Austin Meadows, and whoever they have printed in  this year's 2014 class.

Football Sunday: Fear the Beard!!!!

It's Football Sunday and the Steelers are facing the division rivals and much hated Baltimore Ravens.  November is NoShaveNovember so what person to show off on this 1st week of November Football than The Beard himself, Brett Keisel.

Keisel's career is coming to an end as the 36 year old has been relegated to backup and practice squad mostly at this stage.

I just got my first Keisel card and it's a boring old score card worth less than a half dollar.

Orange is the New Black: Sorta

Because it's Halloween week still, I'm going to show off a card I wanted to highlight earlier in the week, but due to the ongoing Save the Boobies contest, I couldn't.

To show my Halloween spirit, here's a card that features both orange and black.  I grabbed this dollar gem earlier in the year when America's Pasttime came out.  It's numbered 86/125

In the very near future I will be showing off a bunch of Andrew McCutchen cards that I recently purchased on COMC.
