the most expensive Andrew McCutchen in my collection
I just received the most expensive baseball card I have ever bought. It's a 2010 Bowman Platinum Andrew McCutchen AUTO/JERSEY numbered 2/10. The card features part of the Jolly Rodger patch worn on the sleeves of all Pirates players.
Keeping with the Bowman Platinum theme is a Rudy Owens AUTO that I pulled in a pack and just haven't posted yet. Rudy was on pace to be a midseason call up for the Pirates this year. He had previously won the Pirates Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2009 and 2010. He's currently on the DL and will most likely be out for the rest of the minor league season.

That Cutch is insane! Niceeeeee. I won't lie, I'm really curious to know the price. I'd say 40-50 at the least.
ReplyDeleteAlso, give me a heads-up when the Bullington arrives!
It was close to $90 actually. I have only seen one pop up before on ebay and that went for $125. McCutchen cards are starting to raise in price considerably this year.
ReplyDeleteI got the Bullington yesterday, but haven't had a chance to scan yet so no trade post yet. LMK when you get the Kershaw.
Still a great deal! That patch is just ridiculous, and I love me a sweet patch.
ReplyDeleteGlad the Bullington got there! I'll give you a heads-up when Clayton makes his arrival.
I would just sit and stare at that McCutchen card all day... nice work!
